The issue of continuing education is important. Still, other folks might have a career certification in one field but would like to pursue something they now have an interest in. Online learning has made getting your higher education career certification far less difficult because you can earn your own career certification from the comfort of your dwelling place and when you finish from office. Thanks for all the other tips I have certainly learned through the blog.

Very nicely said. Why do we have those battle lines? Why can’t we appreciate each other? As a lay midwife, I have been scowled at, humiliated and talked down to by many doctors. Not all, but many. The weird thing is, I am the woman, I am the one who has birthed so many babies, and I am the one who loves these children!

May I say a big AMEN to what you have written. Just yesterday I took the baby in for a “well baby check up”. When I asked questions about the vaccines they wanted to give my baby and denied getting them – pending further research, I got “the lecture” from the dr. and the nurse was visibly upset with me. Where vaccines are concerned, I feel as if you play Russian roulette regardless of whether you do or don’t. I have been searching for the best way to feed and doctor my children for what seems like forever. I have concerns when I take them to the doctor and when I take them to the naturopath. It would be so nice if there was a middle ground. A doctor that believed in natural remedies first, prescription meds then used surgery as a last resort.

I wish I was close enough to you to come and hold your hand. I will pray for you though and you’ll be in my thoughts.
